  2. What Is It? What is it? • The nation's largest annual gathering of Roman Catholics! Theme: I’M JUST SAYIN’… • We can encourage friends, family members, and even strangers by using our theme as a tool for evangelization and catechesis. • It’s as easy as remembering, "I’m just saying that God loves you" when dealing with ourselves and with others. Our theme empowers us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the rest of the world and that’s exactly what Youth Day is all about!

  3. Who Attends? • 40,000+ students • Over 21,804 registered from across the country and as far away as the U,K. and Australia. • Youth Day will be available shortly…. • Further info. at http://www.recongress.org/

  4. Expectations • Students will: • Have a curfew of 11:00 pm (all students MUST be in their rooms) • Lorne will do room checks for the boys at 11:10 • Melissa will do room checks for the girls at 11:10 • All meals will be eaten together as a group

  7. Proposed Itinerary • March 13, 2010, • 6:00-7:00 am Breakfast • 7:00– 7:15 am Walk to Convention Center • 7:30- 3:30 pm Youth Day at Convention Center • 3:30-3:45 pm Walk back to hotel • 3:45- 6:00pm Relax at hotel • 6:00-7:30pm Dinner • 11 pm Curfew

Proposed Return flight • March 20, 2010 • 7:00-8:00 am Breakfast • 9:00-9:30 am Check out of hotel • 11:15 AM Arrive at airport Westjet Flight • Depart from Los Angeles at 12:15AM on WS 1423 • Arrive in Edmonton at 16:27 PM AirCanada Flight • Depart from Los Angeles at 11:10 AM • Arrive in Edmonton at 3:14 PM

  10. Interested Parents • All students are welcome • Require a $200 deposit • Require the remaining $1050 by Oct 1 • Methods of Payment: Cheque, Money Order, Cash, MC / Visa will require an additional $25.30 to cover the 2.3 % service charge • Cheques made to Archbishop Jordan High School

  11. Disneyland • Disneyland Pass not included in price 2 Day Park Hopper with Speed Pass $131.00

  12. Reminders • All students will require a passport, health insurance • School will require a copy of their passport • Money for meals and shopping has not been included in the proposed price • Please provide supervisors with cell phone numbers
