  3. Who are the Board and what will they do? Accountable Officer - Dr Christa Beesley • Improve quality of services • Improve health of local population • Ensure value for money

  4. Who are the Board and what will they do? Chief of Clinical Leadership - Dr Naz Khan • Support and develop Clinical Programme Leads • Represent Clinical leads on the Board

  5. Who are the Board and what will they do? Director of Adult Social Care – Denise D’Souza • Responsibility for assessment of social care services to those that meet the eligibility criteria. • Safeguarding to the most vulnerable • Deprivation of Liberty - undertaking statutory function eg mental act assessment

Director of Public Health - Dr Tom Scanlon • As of 1st April 2013, a senior officer of the local authority with a duty to improve the public’s health, and a lead responsibility for all local authority matters relating to health. • Provide health and public health leadership for the local authority, working closely with CCG partners

Lay member (Governance) - Dr George Mack • Ensure the CCG behaves with probity and that there are appropriate systems of internal control and assurance in place for all aspects of governance, including financial and risk management • Oversee key elements of governance including audit, remuneration and managing conflicts of interest

  8. Who are the Board and what will they do? Lay member (PPI) - Janice Robinson • Ensure that in all aspects of the CCG business, the public voice of the local population is heard and that opportunities are created and protected for patient and public empowerment in the work of the CCG

Local Member Group GP Lead (West) - Dr Anne Miners • A local GP who will sit on the Board to represent the views of the member practices within the East, West and Central Localities • Lead a team to support practices to commission and improve local quality of care

Chief Operating Officer – Geraldine Hoban • Oversees the planning, delivery and performance of commissioned services • Ensures that business processes are effective and well governed • Line manages commissioning/corporate business/planning teams • Ensures effective collaborative commissioning and partnership arrangements

Director of Clinical Quality & Primary Care - Vacant • Ensure that the governing body acts in the best interests of the local population at all times and that decisions are taken with regard to securing the best use of public money • Lead and influence clinical and organisational change to enable the CCG to deliver commissioning responsibilities

  17. Who are the Board and what will they do? Chief Financial Officer - Michael Schofield • Strategic and Operational Financial Advisor • Ensure the optimal use of resources and delivery of a sustainable financial position
