Competitive events • Role Plays and Tests (all competitors participate in this) • New DECA Members do Principals of Events: Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Hospitality and Tourism • Former or Enthusiastic DECA Members: Accounting, Apparel, Automotive, Business Services, Food Marketing, Hotel and Lodging, Marketing Management, Quick Serve Restaurant, Restaurant and Food Service, Retail Merchandising, Sports and Entertainment • Written Projects • optional and ONLY for DECA Members interested in working hard, being enthusiastic, willing to go the extra mile, having high standards, and being goal oriented

Earn a Letter • EXPERIENCED LEADERS • LSE DECA Office • Run for a State Office • Attend Fall and/or Central Region Conference • ACADEMICALLY PREPARED • Qualify for DECA ICDC in competitive event • Participate in DECA Written Project • COMMUNITY ORIENTED • Participate in majority of chapter community service activities • PROFESSIONALY RESPONSIBLE • Participate in majority of club days and socials AND attend one leadership conference • Leadership or major involvement in a committee or activity You must meet requirements for all four points of the DECA Diamond
