Testing Schedule 3rd grade: Math: April 23 Reading: April 24 5th grade: Math*: April 2 (May 14, June 25) Reading*: April 3 (May 15, June 26) Science: April 24 • 4th grade: • Writing: April 2 & 3 • Math: April 23 • Reading: April 24 *The 5th grade Math and Reading tests fall under the SSI requirement. The additional dates listed are retesting dates.

Student Success Initiative • State performance requirement (5th grade only) • Requirements for Promotion: • SSI • Must pass the reading and math tests • 3 opportunities to take the tests • Academic promotion standards [found in EIE (Local) policy] • 70 or above yearly combined average in language arts, reading, mathematics, science, and social studies • 70 or above yearly average in reading • 70 or above yearly average in mathematics.
