Exothermic welding - Making different joints for serving variant requirements

Exothermic weld joint is a simple and reliable solution which is carried out using a graphite mould, weld powder, handle clamp, flint gun, mould brush, file card brush and appropriate protective outfits. Before welding, make sure that you are in your protective outfit and also that the conductor and mould surfaces are cleaned so that no dirt or moisture retains on the surface. <br>

  1. A Superior Choice for Effective Way of Welding Exothermic welding - Making different joints for serving variant requirements Electrical earthing installation is a forced dem and for protection of every electrical/ electronic appliances. Earth connection is an added ground wire linked to the conducting part of devices so that if any amount of unbearable current enters the equipment can be blocked and control all potential electrical hazards. Earthing system is a well known practice which can be conventional technology or it can be an ultramodern maintenance free technology creating a path for discharging fault current to the ground. Electrical networks being the integral part of our lives the earthing is mandate to every electrical network or appliance for proper dissipation of faults can be carried out by a good conductor, backfill compound and appropriate jointing techniques. Often there comes a requirement for joint making techniques in the installation setup for fusion of earthing or lightning protection conductors esp. those dissimilar metals. There are several options available in the market, but here we would talk of the most preferred method and make you knowledgeable of the ways you can avoid them. The method that you adopt or the one you choose depends totally on the joint you want to accomplish.

  2. A Superior Choice for Effective Way of Welding Modern welding Technique Exothermic weld joint is a simple and reliable solution which is carried out using a graphite mould, weld powder, handle clamp, flint gun, mould brush, file card brush and appropriate protective outfits. Before welding, make sure that you are in your protective outfit and also that the conductor and mould surfaces are cleaned so that no dirt or moisture retains on the surface. Graphite mould is uniquely prepared for different kind of joints according to the dimensions of the conductors to be joined. With each mould you can make upto 40 to 50 joints of particular kind. The process does not require external heating provision but it simply involves a chemical reaction triggered up due to the combustion inside the mould containing the conductors and weld powder. Combustion of weld powder inside the mould form a molten state, which when cooled will result in the formation of 100% stronger molecular bond. The proposed system is compatible with almost all metals such as copper, steel, cast iron, gunmetal, etc. and moreover adheres to required standards - IEEE 837, UL 467, National Building Code 2016.
