  1. Youth Engagement Committee Update Akram Abed – Co-Chair

  2. Our Goal • encourage trail use and Circuit advocacy by young people. • Connect youth programming to trails • Work with young people directly

  3. Accomplishments • Partnering with Parsons The New School for Design on the pre-college active transportation curriculum. • Created club and bike space and repair room at Baldwin’s Run Community Center in Camden. • Four Camden students presented their experiences at the Youth Bike Summit in NYC.

  4. Future Projects • Multi-organization youth ride and BBQ • Compiling a list of youth organizations • Pop-up Bike Clinics • Create a guide to document youth projects • Form a youth-led committee

  5. Needs • Additional help in compiling the list of youth organizations in the Circuit Region. • Looking for assistance in planning the Circuit Youth Sojourn ride occurring in Summer 2015. • Co-chair
