NetAcad Slovakia Contribution to Cisco • Contribution to Corporate NetAcad and CSR • Podpora zavadzania novych kurikul (Ulahcenie pristupu k materialom NetAcad a ITE co najvacsiemu poctu studentov (NCTT project) • Contribution to Cisco Business Segments • Establishment of international expert/consultant Work Groups with participation of NetAcad instructors (oriented toward problem solving issues for public: VoIP, WiFi, Security – Work Groups can be leaded by Cisco specialists) • Transfer (replication) of best projects form academic scope between countries (Scotland digital network) in cooperation with RCNAs • Establishment of Cisco Competence Centres (Centres of excellence) based on the best RCNAs (build strategic relations with Education Sector and Governments) – place for presentations of the newest Cisco technologies; • MoU between Cisco, Government Groups and program Sponsors

General Drivers and Directives • Growth and Sustainability • Building of teachers career based on the NetAcad program (NetAcad program as part of the teachers career building system – new project) • Zavedenie novych kuricul: Special trainings for all instructors - curricula update and launch of new curricula to all NetAcad academies • Extension of IT ES also for schools which are not involved in NetAcad program (potential school localization in cooperation with Ministry of Education) • Extension of NetAcad program on all technically orientated universities • Establishment of Work Groups oriented toward problem solving issues from Netacad instructors (WiFi, Security….- like as VoIP WG) • Business Impact • Presentation of NetAcad instructors community as an expert group which will be act in behalf of new education system informatization concept realization within the frame of structural funds – ME operation program • Close cooperation of AAM with Ministry of education on realization of education system informatization strategy (member of ministers Work Group) • Preparation of pilot projects within NetAcad community in close cooperation with NRN (SANET) aimed toward implementation of new ways of communication based on multimedia (VoIP, IPTV, videoconferences) • Establishment of Cisco Competence Centres based on RCNA (Security, WiFi, …)

General Drivers and Directives (Continued) • Social Impact Podpora akademii v menej rozvinutych oblastiach – vytvorenie prilezitosti pre tieto oblasti – podmienky pre potencialnych investorov v oblasti IT (IT Valley Kosice) • Student Impact • Nove moznosti pre absolventov nie IT odborov v regionch kde je velky nedostatok IT odbornikov: New retraining project based on the NetAcad program in cooperation with IT investors. Project will be aimed at university graduate/alumni retraining (students which do not study informatics and have poor chance for employment) • Aktivity zamerane na podporu lokalizacie kuricul na baze NCTT nastroja • Identification of best NetAcad students for internal Cisco usage (Cisco Olymp competition, student fair) • Alumni tracking: establishment of NetAcad program absolvent's club (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) and monitoring of their professional career • Marketing and Communications • NetAcad program partnership with most significant IT magazines • Udrziavanie staleho kontaktu so studentami: NetAcad program periodical (Newsletter), Networking terms Dictionary AJ-SJ • Common projects of school involved in NetAcad program – Twinning between academies • Annual NetAcad conferences – cooperation of SR a CR (excelent example of Twinning) • Operational Excellence • Optimalizacia aktivit a cinnosti AAM (vyuzivanie nastrojov Web 2.0) • Replikacia best practice medzi krajinamy: Twining activities for AAM aimed at experience exchange (AAM work) from different countries (AAM short work in other countries)
