  3. Survey of patients and healthcare professionals 2 Financial rewards between blood-related relatives or non blood-related relatives and friends: • Compensation expenses only (60.6%) • None (29.1%) • Direct financial rewards (10.1%) • Don’t know (0.2%)

  6. Paid donation: Against • Human life is not for sale • Donors: the altruistic driving force • Paid donation ends in tragedy • Respect of autonomy to sell his/ her kidney? Hypocrisy! • A few £££ will not save truly vulnerable people • Destroy for ever the miracle/ gift of transplantation
