  3. What you need to use PhotoStory3 Makes it easier: Required: • Microphone to record sound • Digital camera to take personal pictures • Scanned Photos • Scanned Drawings • Internet access to download software • Computer with Windows XP • Access to music • Access to video

  4. Why use PhotoStory3? • Play for parents on open house • Give CD copies of work to students • Share stories with other classrooms • Send movies as a visual Thank you to sponsors/parents/guest speakers • Share how-to videos • Community Sharing

  5. What can the kids create that aligns with my curriculum or my GE's? • Portfolio pieces • Role Play-history, social studies, science, math, books • Reader's Theater, skits • Reviews • Family stories • Sports or other events

  10. Let's Try What You've Learned Your challenge is to use this program to tell a story in a team of 3 people. You should use at least 3 pictures, one piece of music, and one audio sentence or phrase. Remember these facts, PhotoStory3 is already downloaded onto your computer.  Look on your desktop in the 'apps' folder. Photos are located for you on the shared drive of your computer.   To find these pictures while in your PhotoStory3 program, go to 'Insert', 'Open', 'My Computer', 'Shared Drive S', 'PhotoStorypics'.  Begin when you are ready.  Your team has 15 minutes to create.
