  3. Ladybug • Interesting Facts: • The pupa goes through metamorphosis during this stage, to become a ladybug • They are in the pupa stage only 7 days • The pupa attach themselves to leaves and appear to be asleep Stage 3: Pupa

  4. Ladybug • Interesting Facts: • There are over 5000 kinds of lady bugs worldwide • The adult ladybug is soft and pink at first, while it waits for its shell to harden • They produce a chemical that smells and tastes terrible so that predators will not eat them Stage 4: Adult
