  3. What can you find in an atlas? • Can include information about: • Roads/Driving Directions/Latitude and Longitude • Landscapes/Topography/Landforms/Physical Maps • Social Information/Population/Cultural • Natural Elements/Temperature/Resources • REMEMBER: This is all in map form.

  4. What is an almanac? • A book of statistics (numbers) and other information that is published annually. That means once a year. • Almanacs can be information about a previous year or possible information about a future year. Usually this is for weather predictions.

  5. What can you find in an almanac? • Statistical Information • Interesting Facts About Different Subjects • Weather Predictions/Patterns (Farmer’s Almanac) • “Year In Review”
