  2. NASTEC Set up to promote the latest development in security technology through Newly Associated States (NAS) of EU. Association of four expertise organisations with a dedicated framework to transfer and apply knowledge within academic society in Poland and Romania.

  3. Objectives • Transfer knowledge and technology for provision of security services in NAS. • Help with understanding of data protection and privacy in e-communication. • Promote the use of European technology and services in NAS. • Diminish the gap between running e-business applications and the use of complex tools for trust and confidence based on trusted third party technology. • Dissemination of knowledge about the European legislation frame-work in the field of e-work and e-business, such as the Digital Signature act.
