  1. Israeli-Palestinian Conflict English 6-F Jin-Hong Jung February 13, 2009

  2. Can the teenagers of Israel and Palestine today recover from the violence they have faced all their lives? • I think they can’t recover because it is an war against their nationality. If one of the side loses they will kill the other side and the country won’t survive. • This conflict bothers the Arab Government.

  3. How It began • Hamas advertized that it would not agree to extend the agreement, extracting the fact that Israel had not lifted its blockade of the Gaza Strip. As a result, Hamas resumed its rocket attacks on Israel, which first began in 2001, December 27. • Since this conflict had began, more than 1,000 Palestinian civilians had died.

  4. The Hamas • Hamas was created in 1987 by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. • Hamas was successful in the Palestinian Parliamentary elections on January 2006. • After Hamas’s success, violent and non-violent infighting arose between Hamas and Fatah.

  5. The Gaza Strip: Israel vs. Hamas • Israel launched an air campaign against Hamas on December 27, 2008. • Other attackers viewed Israel's assault on Gaza as wildly disproportionate in cruelty and began straining pressure on Israel to declare a cease-fire.

  6. The death of Palestine and Israeli • About 5,000 people in Palestine died. • And about 1,000 people died in Israeli.

  7. The latest Conflict • On February 9, 2009 a Palestinian fighter died in a clash with Israeli troops and Israeli aircraft attacked two targets in Gaza. • Israeli aircraft struck two militant positions in the territory on the same day.

  8. Information from Habibi • On page 95, when Liyana was at the spice shop when the Jewish got mad at her and said. • “Why you bother with this animal?”

  9. Conclusion So by reading this information I think Palestine and Israel can’t recover from the violation. But I wish the countries can recover and have a good life. Thank You for being a good audience and listening to my presentation 
