Note : i) Role of a magnifier:(P < f) The image is virtual, erect, and larger than the object and (L) is converging. ii) Role of a slide projector: (f < P < 2f) The image is real, inverted, and larger than the object and (L) is converging. iii) Role of a camera ( or Human eye):( P > 2f) The image is real, inverted, and smaller than the object and (L) is converging. iv) Role of a door eye: The image is virtual, erect, and smaller than the object and (L) is diverging. v) Role of a photocopier ( P=2f ) : The image is real, inverted, and equal to that of the object and (L) is converging.
