Stato della torre EM • La torre EM e’ rimasta assemblata per evitare di danneggiare i fragili cavi smontandoli e rimontandoli • Questo ha impedito il test dei tray in camera termica e il completamento dell’ incapsulazione delle microsaldature fra ladder e tray (solo 4 tray sono completi) • Il tempo rimasto fra test vibrazionale e test termovuoto non permette di effettuare queste ciclature • La Plyform ha il materiale per assemblare le nuove sidewalls che saranno pronte entro 2 settimane, in tempo per il test previsto per il 17/11. • In produzione sono: • Tavola di interfaccia shaker verticale – fixture torre (Pisa) • Tavola di interfaccia camera termovuoto - fixture torre (Pisa) • Nuova fixture (SLAC) • Nuovo frame salva-cavi (SLAC)

  5. SSD Electrical Test Rate Received :9452 (82% del totale, ultimi 2000 in ordine dall’ASI) Tested: 8388 (89% dei ricevuti, 73% del totale) Rejected ~1%

  6. SSD Electrical Properties Specification: leakage current <500 nA at 25C and 150 V

  8. Encapsulation • Dam & Fill encapsulation • Dam Nusil 1142 • Fill Nusil 15-2500 • Requirements: • Height <0.5mm • Lateral overflow <0.05mm • Coverage of all the bondings and pads Fast system to check encapsulation height

Electrical Tests: Results • Electrical test results: • Ladder tested 690 • Accepted 675 (98%) • Broken edge 4 • Probe accident 2 • Fill accident 1 • Not understood 8 • The causes of problems 3, 4 and 5 have been corrected, foreseen rejection rate ∼1% Bad channels caused by bonding or by probing (coupling shorts)=0.016% (accepted limit 1%) No broken or bad bondings

  14. Stato costruzione dei tray • Incoming materiali in corso : • problemi su qualita’ honeycomb • Problemi su prima serie di CC (yeld 75% su 40) • Taglio tungsteni 18%Xo • Previsione: primi tray sotto test vibrazionale e bakeout a dicembre 4mm

  15. Programma a breve • Produzione di 10-20 tray entro dicembre (con test vibrazionale e bakeout) • Produzione tray a ritmo di 10 tray/settimana per gennaio • Ricevimento di ~20 elettroniche con meccanica (pitch adapter) migliorata ma GTRC-6 (TOT e Clock problems) entro novembre • Assemblaggio di 5 trays con ladder funzionanti per costruzione di minitower #2 entro dicembre • Gennaio-marzo test estensivi minitower: • Test con cosmici in configurazione minitower e su rack di test • Test termico passivo • Test termovuoto attivo • Test vibrazionale • In parallelo • Assemblaggio dei ladder sui tray • ~marzo MCM con GTRC7  inizio produzione torre A
