  2. The United Nations was formed on October 24, 1945. The UN replaced the League of Nations which was formed after the first World War. The League tried to keep the peace among the Countries. But after World war II it became clear that the league failed and wasn’t working so they formed the UN. Background on World War II

  3. The UN was formed to try and keep international peace and security. Also to make friendly relations between Countries and to try and better living standards and human rights in other Countries. The UN Mission

  4. The security council responsibility is to maintain international peace and security 15 countries are on the Security Council the 5 permanent members of the security council are china, France, Russia federation, the united kingdom, and the united states. Security Council

  6. The world health organization is located in Geneva Switzerland. The type of work the world health organizations does is help the government improve health services .   7. The UNICEF stands for united nations international children's emergency funds .It was created to meet the emergency needs of children in post war in Europe and China. The type of work UNICEF does is protects children's from violence , exploitation and abuse.
