  3. What was called to revise the Articles of Confederation after Shay’s Rebellion? The constitutional convention, which was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1787.

  4. Why is the U.S. Constitution a good example of Federalism? It defines the role of a strong cetral government, and leaves the rest of the power to the state.

  5. What was the Southern States objection that led to the 3/5 Compromise? They wanted slaves to be represented in the house of representatives but they did not want to pay tax when doing this. If Slaves were counted a federal tax would be put on the Southern states.
