Harper and Moon • For Harper Moon who is four or five years old than himself carries a special kind of magic. • He can create wonderful little ships out of scraps and he can whistle birds down out of the air. • The summer they both spend with a old mountain man in his cabin in the wilderness is the kind of summer adventure boys dream of. • During the fall Harper is off to war and Harper makes a shattering discovery that tests his courage his trust and everything he believes about friendship.

Why I Choose This Book • I picked this book because it is about a boy who is four or five years old and gets powers that would be cool. • The first reason I picked this book is because I would like powers like him to have the power to use scraps for cool stuff and control birds to come down from the sky. • The second reason is I want to use scraps to make really small stuff like little ships and planes for people who need help with it. • The last reason I picked this book is because of the birds they can wake me up in the morning and sing to me if I was angry.

  4. The main Character In The Book • The Main character in the book is Harper. • This is the main character because since I read this book Harper been really brave. • He stands up for himself. He never backs down. He helps others when they need help and he never gives up, no matter what. • He loves to create stuff out of scraps like little planes and ships.

What Did I Like About It • The things I like about Harper and Moon was it was fantasy I really like fantasy because it is made up and it is not real and it not history either. • Another reason I like Harper and Moon is because it is enjoyable because when you get to the middle of the book it gets more exciting . • Third reason I like the book is you understand how he feels in the story when he is mad you know why he is mad and why he getting mad. • The last reason I liked the book was the author made a book that most kids would like and enjoy it was great and I wish they made a series of Harper and Moon.
