You have the opportunity to find riches, resources, and claim as much land as you want. Do you decide to move West? Why or why not? • Imagine: You are going West. You know you will HAVE to travel thousands of miles. You can only bring what you can carry and walk with. What do you bring? • You know there will be savage Native Americans, wild animals, and harsh weather as you go across the country. But you know there might be riches at the end of your journey. How do you feel?
