  5. Battery • No gas required • Runs mainly on battery • Will run on gas if the battery dies • Only needs to be replaced about every 10 years • On average, the battery lasts about 100,000 miles

  6. Money • Less money is spent on gas • More money can be spent on the car itself • A hybrid car cost just as much as a normal, gas running car

  7. Less Pollution • Since the hybrid car runs on batteries it uses less gas • Less gas means less pollution • When there is less pollution then the environment is more healthy
