  3. 1. ¿Qué es el DIADESOL? • El DIADESOL es una “conmemoración de la limpieza y ciudadanía” en las Américas. • Es una iniciativa promovida por la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) y la Asociación Interamericana de Ingeniería Sanitaria y Ambiental (AIDIS). • El DIADESOL cuenta con socios estratégicos como OEA, ISWA, CWWA, CEPAL, PNUMA, entre otros, y fue presentado públicamente en el XVIII Congreso Interamericano de AIDIS (Cancún, 2002).

  4. 2. Objetivo del DIADESOL • Sensibilizar a la sociedad civil acerca de la importancia de mantener limpia nuestras viviendas, ciudades,carreteras y lugares de recreo, evitando ensuciarlas.
