Funding and Reporting • 2nd Prefinancing will be send soon • Details were communicated to institute representatives • 2nd Annual Report due in Brussels on February 15th • Finance reports will be requested in early January • → check your accounts in December • EU requires a 'Mid-term' Report, due end 2005 • I3HP Management Board meets October 15-16 • Aim: Merge 'Mid-Term' Report and 2nd Annual Report • Detailed requirements will be announced in 3rd week of October 3rd FutureDAQ Workshop --- Walter F.J. Hadron Physics Dissemination Board • Consortium Agreement – Article 4.7.2 Hadron Physics Dissemination Board (HPDB) Role: • The HPDB shall be responsible for the dissemination of Knowledge and, more particularly, for: • - Ensuring the quality and the distribution of publication papers, conference proceeding, reports and books; • - Ensuring the availability and maintenance of information related to the Project on the Web, including postdoctoral and thesis opportunities in the Project; • - Promoting actively talks and contributions at conferences and workshops, including the collection of documents for reporting activities at a higher level (ECFA, ICFA, EPS, etc.); • - Monitoring the world-wide activities related to the work carried out in the Project; • - Assisting the HPMB in the implementation of measures in connection with publications, the protection of Knowledge and their dissemination. More particularly, the HPDB shall draft the publication policy and regularly update the list of eligible authors for any scientific documents such as papers and reports. 3rd FutureDAQ Workshop --- Walter F.J. Aichelin • What is YOUR responsibility: • Add following acknowledgement to all papers: • Refer to I3HP and FutureDAQ in conference talks in an appropriate manner→ e.g. put the logos somewhere • Report all conference talks, publications, and thesis to the activity leader→ send email to W.F.J.Mueller@gsi.de • In case you have produced a 'Note' for your experiment→ turn it into a "FutureDAQ Note" and send it to the activity leader • All this will be made available in the revamped I3HP Web-Site soon We acknowledge the support of the European Community-Research Infrastructure Activity under the FP6 "Structuring the European Research Area" programme (HadronPhysics, contract number RII3-CT-2004-506078). 3rd FutureDAQ Workshop --- Walter F.J.
