  2. setting • The setting is in Tulsa Oklahoma back then when they had drive-ins.

  3. ponyboy • Gray-greenish eyes • Light-brown , almost-red hair • Long hair • Introverted : he is very shy to talk to girl. • Joyful : he is very happy to be a greaser • Courageous : he is very brave when he fights a soc’s.

  4. johnny • Long/shaggy black hair • Big black eyes • Dark tanned face

  5. conflict • Johnny stab a soc’s because they were drowning ponyboy in a fountain they also hid from the cop’s. • It is a man vs man conflict

  6. Summary of plot • The summary is about a teenager name ponyboy .He and his brothers are an a gang name the greaser. They always get in fights with the soc’s .One day ponyboy ran away for home and met up with Johnny at the park. A couple of soc’s showed up and started to fight and they were drowning ponyboy so Johnny stabbed a soc’s and killed him. They went to a abandon church and stayed there for a week. The church was burning with kids in it Johnny was saving the kids and got burnt bad so he went to the hospital. The greaser and the soc’ got in a rumble and the greaser won. Ponyboy went to tell Johnny but Johnny died and then dally went crazy and got shot by the cops.

  8. Point of view • The point of view is first-person. • This point of view helps the read understand how the person isfeeling and what he or she is think. • If the point of view was different we would not know how the author is feeling and thinking.
