Medical Services • IOM Damascus medical officers are designated medical Practitioners for Australia, Canada & performing medical examinations for Germany, UK & others • Medical examinations for USRP are carried out by panel physicians accredited by the US embassy in Damascus • IOM Damascus is performing escort services to USA based on PP recommendations.

USRP Work Planning • Coordinating with MMD applicable promnote levels for the period taking into consideration fares using global and local agreements and distribution of the caseload among airlines / POEs. • Coordinating with OPE quarterly projections for the FY and updates during the quarter. • Slot allocation with SIMA based on FDs, POEs and airlines. • Requesting blocks from airlines

USRP Work flow • Receiving RFT cases from OPE Amman. • Requesting transportation letters for RFT cases from OPE Damascus Remote Site & sending to US Embassy. • Contacting / meeting refugees to check their readiness for travel example: passport information, Residency, fitness for travel & schedule appointment for pre departure briefing and signing USRP forms. • Referring refugees with pre flight checks to OPE Damascus remote site for coordination with PP. • Referring refugees with new passports to OPE Damascus remote site. • Assign RFT refugees to approved slots in SIMA according to must travel date and FD. • Receiving travel packets from OPE Amman. • Scheduling Pre departure Briefing / handing over transportation letters, tickets & travel detail for exit permit formalities. (Exit Permit is arranged by refugees) • Meeting refugees to sign promnotes and other USRP forms & checking exit permit stamp. • Meeting refugees at airport, distributing of travel packet, IA check & departure assistance.

  16. Tracking RFT cases • Manual tracking for RFT case status. • MiMOSA update for travel packet status after receiving from OPE Amman (weekly reports are generated). • MiMOSA update for case remarks (no reports available).

  17. Scheduling • OPS: • Appointments are scheduled based on received requests / MTIFs. No arrangement for transportation during this process • Medical: • Appointments are scheduled based on the requests of the receiving countries and/or generated ABNs. No arrangement for transportation during this process • CO: • Appointments are scheduled according to requests received requests and / or generated ABNs, pocket money is given to refugees as transportation reimbursement

Migrant Data Exchange among USRP partners • Internal: • OPE, IOM NYC, Transit missions, MRF & MMD: • ABN, ADD, DEL, DEP reports are generated from MiMOSA • Monthly MVNT report is generated from MiMOSA Pivot table. • External: • Airlines: • Blocks request: Report generated from SIMA. • Name list: Report generated from MiMOSA / PF. • APIS: Report generated from MiMSOA / PF. • UNHCR: • ABN, ADD, DEL, DEP reports are generated from MiMOSA. • Monthly MVNT report is generated from MiMOSA Pivot table. • US Embassy Damascus: Sealing the transportation letters generated from WRAPS on US embassy letter head.

Suggested reports and MiMOSA Automation • Report for RFT cases imported into MiMOSA from MTIF according to import date showing: Case number, PA, contact number, PPT information, must arrive before date & FD for scheduling purposes. • Report to track the status of unassigned cases imported from MTIF before receiving travel packet. • Additional fields showing UNHCR file number & contact number on ABN, ADD, DEL. • Luggage count information & UNHCR number to be included on DEP. • Generating final ABN after DEL & ADD

Suggested reports and MiMOSA Automation • Caution message when assigning cases to PFs dated after must arrive date. • Caution message when assigning a case to PF with FD one of US POEs. • Scheduling utility for refugees appointments. • Cross checking Airline fares entered into MiMOSA with applicable promnote amount for the period.
