  3. steel applications MATERIALS SELECTION • Role-play to simulate the type of job a student can expect in industry • User challenged to reduce mass by 25% • Requires careful balancing of several conflicting requirements

  4. steel processing PROCESS SIMULATION • Fully interactive virtual steelworks will simulate entire production route • Now used in university courses and company training (free online) www.steeluniversity.org
