Recommendations 3 mains mean of verification: - By Design: See Instrument Definition (EUSO-DF-INST-204-LAL_V2.0), Mechanical Architecture (EUSO-MA-INST-406-IRAP_V1.0) or Electrical Architecture (EUSO-EA-INST-001-APC_V1.0) - By Tests: specificmeasurements and tests (weight, length, environnement tests) or byAIT Tests: SeeAssembly, Integration and Test Plan (EUSO-AI-INST-251-LAL_V1.0) - By Analysis: See Thermal analysis (EUSO-TA-INST-409-IRAP_V1.0), mechanicalanalysis (EUSO-MA-INST-406-IRAP_V1.0) By Design Most of the requirements are verified by Design and by Tests. Some of them are verified only by design: technology demonstrator, water tightness, fire, explosion, collection area, data storage, etc. Verification Plan

Recommendations By Tests The AIT Tests foreseen in the PAIE (See EUSO-AI-INST-251-LAL_V1.0 and Sylvie D.’s presentation) will verify most of the requirements: background imaging, EAS detection, spectral range, low and strong illumination, gains, lenses, MAPMTs, ASICs, etc. The main tests for the PDM are: MAPMTs efficiency and gain measurements, calibration of the MAPMTs and of the ASICs (photocouting and KI), trigger validation test, subsystems tests, integration tests and subsystems assembly and functional tests, low pressure tests. The main tests for the DP are: subsystems functional tests, communications between the subsystems. By Analysis Some of the requirements are verified by design and by thermal or mechanical analysis: acceleration, temperature, pression, breaking requirements, etc. Verification Plan

  4. Conclusion Most of the requirements are verified by Design and by Tests. Some of the requirements are verified only by design, some by design and by analysis. No open issues. Verification Plan
