  3. Singular possessive noun • A singular possessive noun shows that one person, place, or thing has or owns something. • To make a singular noun show possession, add an apostrophe (‘) and –s. • The baby’s crib.

  4. Come up with 5 examples of your own. • Boy’s • Dog’s • Brother’s • Child’s • Pen’s

  5. Plural possessive noun • A plural possessive noun shows that more than one person, place, or thing has or owns something. • To make a plural noun that ends in –s show possession, add an apostrophe (‘). Only! • The soldiers’ uniforms

  7. Plural possessive noun • To make a plural noun that does not end in –s show possession, add an apostrophe (‘) and –s. • The men’s shoes
