  3. Singular possessive • One noun (person, place, or thing) • Having ownership or relationship

The apostrophe in plural possessives • Plurals ending in “s” • Just add an apostrophe • Example: spiders becomes spiders’ • All the spiders’ webs were beautiful. • Plurals not ending in “s” • Add an apostrophe and the letter “s” • Example: children becomes children’s • Please get all the children’s caps before we go outside.
