  3. What Will Hope Do For Us? • Joy in life (Rom. 5:2; 12:12; 15:13) • Perseverance in times of trial (Rom. 5:4-5; 8:24-25) • Boldness to speak out (2 Cor. 3:12)

  4. What Will Hope Do For Us? • Comfort in death (1 Thess. 4:13) • Protection from the devil (1 Thess. 5:8) • Stability in difficult times (Heb. 6:18-19)

  5. What Will Hope Do For Us? • Reason to evangelize (1 Pet. 3:15) • Purification from sin (1 Jn. 3:3)
