Beta Trial Status • Apr 24-26: Jiangxi school #148 installed successfully • With MPS2011, not MPS2012 • ShinShin supporting teams were on site • GaoHui has provided excellent support • Gigi and Raymond had very good follow up with the school • May 7-10: Jilin school #222 installation is done • Severe wiring problem • Teacher feedback: need 杀毒软件, 备份软件, Access control… • May 20-23: Sichung school #35: to be done • e-Learn team will start to work out an evaluation process with RMs for these schools

  3. ECTT sites • Will start the procurement process mid-May • Alternative system integrator • Might use 上海龍力技術發展有限公司, which is GaoHui’s company • Need the company to demonstration system level integration capability • Need the company to provide a good price quote for the system • Target to finish both ECTT site integrations by the end of June

  4. ECTT equipment reuse • School selection is on-going: • 大昌 is in discussion with 湖南湘西龙山县召市镇欣欣中心小学 • Very enthusiastic about getting the donation • Wants a lab with 45 student stations • In the process of understanding their matching possibility • Needs to go through a rigorous nation-wide bidding process • This process could be long • No other school is requesting • The reason? • Alternative: Give all 24 seats to召市镇欣欣中心小学

  5. Shangdong and Jilin equipment update • Might not do Jilin this year: • Jilin school #27 has concern about the interruption • We need help to get status from Shangdong school #156 • The school moved during the end of last year • Still plan to finish upgrading by the end of 2013

  6. 吉林通榆明德欣欣小学电子教学试验成果研究与示范 • Appreciation goes to all Cab members • 大昌 leads the project with 袁文and白晴’s active participation • 课题负责人 邬志辉教授 • 课题负责人单位 东北师范大学教育学部 • 2013年6月21日－6月25日：学术论文正稿提交与美国欣欣教育基金会商讨。 • 2013年6月26日－6月30日：将学术论文正稿送交较好的核心刊物发表，同时提交美国欣欣教育基金会，作为美国欣欣教育基金会全国师资培训（7月7日-8月19日间）的相关核心教材 • Contract signed on May 9 • Total cost is 6000RMB

  7. Interface with IT team • YingYi 裘 has just joined ShinShin • Among other things, she will be e-Learning team’s champion to establish a web based system: • Surveys • School reports and self evaluations • Teaching material sharing • Forums • Etc.
