  2. Mammoth Hunt Our first activity was the mammoth hunt. We had to climb a big hill all the way to the top. When we were at the top, we had to find a mammoth but it wasn’t real. It was just a fake.

  3. Skinning and gutting a rabbit My second activity was skinning and gutting a rabbit. Mrs Bauerfeind’s son did a demonstration first. Then we did it but I didn’t do it because I felt sick.

  4. Collecting Firewood Before we were going to make a fire, we needed to collect firewood. We got large pieces, small pieces and we got twigs and these things that looked like flax.

  5. The Fire When it was nearly lunch time we made a fire to cook some rabbit to eat for lunch but my eyes hurt because of the smoke.

  6. Flax Weaving My last activity was flax weaving. It was so much fun because we got to sit in the sun doing it. When we were finished we got to play in the sun.

  7. The Dogs When we were at Mrs B’s home, there were 2 dogs. Their names were Unser and Poppy.
