  3. Kdor vzgaja posmehljivca, si nakopava sramoto, kdor opominja krivičnika, se omadežuje.

  4. Ne opominjaj posmehljivca, da te ne bo sovražil, opominjaj modrega, da te bo ljubil.

  5. Poúči modrega in bo še modrejši, pojasni pravičnemu in bo pomnožil znanje.

  6. Začetek modrosti je strah GOSPODOV, spoznanje svetih je razumnost.

  7. Kajti po meni se ti pomnožijo dnevi, se ti podaljšajo leta življenja.

  8. Če si moder, si zase moder, če pa se posmehuješ, boš sam trpel.
