Pieter Stalenhoef Highlights the Points of Comparison Between Small Cap & Mid Cap Funds One of the most well-known investment experts in Boston, Pieter Stalenhoef has been active in this field for more than two decades and is currently working for a long-standing financial industry firm. He has previous experience of working in the position of a designated consumer, media, and healthcare analyst. His training in investment management from Boston University allows him to efficiently analyze small and mid-cap global stocks. Pieter Stalenhoef explains how small cap stocks belong to companies whose market capitalization ranges between $300 million and $2 billion while mid cap stocks, on the other hand, are offered by larger companies which have a market capitalization between $1 billion and $5 billion.

  2. An alumnus of the Boston University School of Management, Pieter is also an inductee of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. He holds a Master of Arts degree in investment management too. Notably, he was appointed as the student senator and member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity during his bachelor of science course in business administration from the University of Vermont. Pieter Stalenhoef set on his professional journey in the year 1992 as a sales representative with Provident Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. His transition into the investment industry started as he joined Fidelity Investments two years later. Pieter has made an appearance on Barron’s Magazine for his interviews about Femsa, a Mexican convenience store chain, and MBT, a Russian telecom company and is also associated with an advocacy group called CFA Society that sponsors a Financial Literacy Initiative.

  3. Outside of work, Pieter Stalenhoef enjoys getting indulged in outdoor activities such as tennis, skiing, and cycling, and even follows these sports closely. Not many people know that Pieter is also an aspiring chef and novelist.
