My Smart Lesson By Sarah Man. ELED 318. I chose this slide because I liked that the students could name the body systems. I might have added a picture as a reference if students were unfamiliar with the systems before the lesson. I would use this as a review after the lesson.

  1. My Smart Lesson By Sarah Man ELED 318

  2. I chose this slide because I liked that the students could name the body systems. I might have added a picture as a reference if students were unfamiliar with the systems before the lesson. I would use this as a review after the lesson.

  3. I chose this slide because it gives the students a chance to move the pictures to create several food chains. I would use this as an informal assessment to see if the students are gaining understanding. And I would have made one of the food chins more well known or all the same length.

  4. I chose this slide because it give the students a chance to interact with the lesson and make decisions for themselves. I would use this to provide a model of healthy eating, and to make it better I would use actual pictures of food, not clip art, so that the objects were easily recognizable.

  5. I chose this slide because it has true-to-life pictures of the planets. I would use this as an informal assessment to check understanding, and I would make it better by having a specific spot to place the label for naming the planet.

  6. I chose this slide because it utilizes a grid to organize the terms. I would use this to check for understanding, and would make it better by adding color to the terms.

  7. I chose this slide because it incorporates reading skills into the science lesson. I would use this after reading a book about butterflies to capitalize on the reading aspect. I would add a highlighted portion of text that didn’t answer a question below, to promote more differentiation.

  8. I chose this slide because it doesn’t give the information that is to be filled on, it relies on the students own knowledge. I would use this to solidify the properties of the periodic table. And since this is one metal and one non-metal,I would add more elements to limit guessing.

  9. I chose this slide because though every clip art has to do with energy transformation, this one asks only to identify the ones pertaining to light. To make it a bit more challenging I may add clip art of things that didn’t use energy or electricity at all.

  10. I chose this slide because it takes something common and messy: a baking acid and base reaction and shows it using technology. I would make this better by adding a volcano graphic, as that is the most recognizable implementation of a baking soda and vinegar reaction.

  11. I chose this slide because it has the students actively engaging in ordering the sequence of events. I would use this to have them order lists in many subjects, not just limited to erosion. I might add an as-you- go checker.
