  1. Executives' Importance in ERP Implementation When it comes to ERP deployment, you must ensure that everyone is on board. Every stakeholder in the firm should be involved in the deployment and play an active part in ERP success. Many businesses do not take the role of executives in ERP deployment seriously. Even if they are not involved in the ERP deployment, CEOs must own the transition process. Clear requirements are required. Chief executives typically delegate responsibilities to subordinates because they believe they have other essential problems to attend to, and they also do not want to take the blame if ERP installation fails. Experts feel that CEOs play a crucial role in ERP implementations and that if top executives are involved in an ERP deployment, it is more likely to be successful. We must ensure that the top-level executive is involved in the execution in some way. Someone must be present to provide guidance to the team and to outline the parameters for success. To determine the state of integration and ensure a successful deployment, progress benchmarks must be created. Commanding the Voice and the Hand Execs have entire control over the resources and the project, and it is critical that they use this control to keep the project moving forward smoothly. The best resources must be provided to the implementation to ensure that the project is not burdened by cost overruns or delays of any type. The top executive should also define the duties and responsibilities of the implementation team to ensure that everything stays on track. Executives must provide a clear plan for how the project will go, and they must enable the team to make decisions by providing full support for what they intend for doing.
