  1. Non-Destructive Testing For Material Evaluation Non destructive testing (NDT) is also known as non destructive evaluation (NDE), non-destructive inspection (NDI) and non-destructive examination. It is basically a group of techniques that professionals use for the evaluation of material without actually altering their properties. Various industries give emphasis to this technology for its ability to establish the quality of a material for a proposed purpose and prevent accidents from occurring. During this process, it also saves time and money. It is also utilised in aerospace industries to ensure faultless deployment of the material. Methods of non-destructive testing are acknowledged for health and safety reasons and complying with industry standard regulations. Pieces of equipment like pipelines, pressure vessels and boilers are regulated by industry standards and hence need to be tested using various methods of NDE Massachusetts. Testing can take place directly or otherwise in a well-maintained environment. In order to ensure maximum effectiveness and safety, non-destructive testing is preferred over destructive one as it suits both regulatory requirements as well as company’s specific needs. It is also preferred because it doesn’t damage expensive sample equipment. NDE methods provide a detailed report outlining the conditions of the important parts, materials to be used and appropriate actions to be taken to overcome the difficulties. A variety of techniques come under NDE, some of which provide a few basic information while some are used for in-depth analysis of material in question. Some of the most commonly used methods are:         Magnetic particle inspection Visual inspection Ultrasonic inspection Dye penetration inspection Eddy current testing Electromagnetic techniques Radiographic Testing Acoustic Emission
