  2. Probably the most important part of car maintenance is oil change. This is what many car owners know how to do, but many do not know. Oil change is not a very tough task to do, but you must be aware of doing it in the best way. An unaware person can make several mistakes and it can be reason of other problems in car.

  3. To do oil change, first you have to know the condition of oil in your car. If you will change without checking it, it can be a deal of loss for you. Making sure that now the time has come to change the oil, is important to prevent yourself from wasting your money.

  4. Lift your car on jack and heat it up: If now you are sure that your car needs oil change, so you should do it in proper way. First of all you have to lift up your car by using the jack. You can fix the jack bellow the front wheels of your car and push it up to lift the car. It is not a very tough task to do and I think you know that. Now you have to heat up your car because solid particles of oil stick at bottom. You can remove the by heating the oil mechanism.

  5. Remove oil cap and pour burnt oil out: Once you have heated the oil storage box or your car, now it is the time to pour burnt oil out. For this you will need a tool to open oil cap. You may easily find it in your car’s tool box. Go below to your car and find the oil cap. Before opening it, keep a pan downward to it for collecting waste oil. Now wait until whole burned oil will not pour out of your car.

  6. Change the oil filter and refill oil: Before you will use new oil in your car, you should change previous oil filter of your car. Because of running the car from a long time with the same filter, you may face engine issues. It is good to change the oil filter exactly at the time of oil change. Your car will run in smoother way than before and you will also get better mileage. Now find the oil assembly and enter the new oil.
