  2. File Type Photoshop Files at a minimum of 300 dpi at final output size can be produced at the fastest, most cost-effective rates. However, if you’ve developed your files in another program, we can convert them to Photoshop before applying lenticular effects. This is just one of the helpful lenticular design guidelines. http://www.socalgraph.com/

  3. File Configuration Prepare your files so that each element is on its own layer with image behind it. If you can’t, a good printer can take care of these lenticular design guidelines for you. http://www.socalgraph.com/

  4. Die-Cutting Prep If your project needs die cutting, please provide a die line as vector art. http://www.socalgraph.com/

  5. Background Ghosting Don’t use flat color tints or smooth vignettes, because they lead to background ghosting. Add color and textures where possible. Avoid white backgrounds or flat tints where possible – this is one of the top lenticular design guidelines. http://www.socalgraph.com/

  6. Text Ghosting High contrast colors will flip on/off as part of the lenticular effect – so don’t chose them, because they’ll detract from the desired effect. http://www.socalgraph.com/

  7. Text Sizing for Lenticular Printing 7 point fonts or larger. Exception of this lenticular design guidelines: If printing on 150 lpi lens, you may use 6 point fonts or larger. http://www.socalgraph.com/
