  2. HSS Office of Health, Safety and Security Policy Updates • June 2007 amendment to 10 CFR 835 • - 3 year implementation schedule • July 8, 2010 compliance due date • All occupational radiation policy/guidance updated • Guide, Standards, Handbooks, Exam Banks, RCTPs, Exemption Decisions

  3. HSS Office of Health, Safety and Security Regulatory Agenda • Fall 2010 extended a project to amend 10 CFR 835 to the Regulatory Agenda. The purpose of this amendment will be to: • Modify Appendix D of 10 CFR 835 “Surface Contamination Values.” • In addition many of the tables in 10 CFR 835 are repeated in the IG for 10 CFR 835 (DOE G 441.1C) HS-11. This may provide a simplified way to update the information in these tables. • HS-11 is also soliciting comments on adopting dose limits from ICRP 60 (10 in 5 years – no more than 5/yr).
