The inauguration of the Kurnool Ultra Mega Solar Park on 8th January 2019 marked a significant milestone for the Andhra Pradesh Energy Department. With a capacity of 1000 MW, the solar park is the third-largest of its kind globally, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leader in renewable energy. It was inaugurated by Shri N Chandrababu Naidu garu as chief minister at that time with all the top TDP MLAs and MPs.<br>
