    53. 2. The Flag The flag is white with five rings in different colors on it. It was designed according to Coubertin s idea in 1913.

    54. Handing over ceremony The representative of the last Olympic host city gives the flag back to Chairman of Olympic Committee, then the Chairman hands it to the mayor of the Olympic host city and a grand flag-raising ceremony follows.
