  1. 17000ft Foundation: Empowering Communities in Sikkim Weare anon-profitorganization dedicated toimprovingthe quality oflifefor people living in remote areas of the Sikkim region. Our mission is to provide access to education, healthcare, and livelihoods.

  2. Our Impact in Sikkim Health Care Livelihoods Education We have built schools and improved educational resources for thousands of children in remote mountain villages. We have established health centers and trained local health workers to provide critical medical services to those in need . We have implemented sustainable livelihood programs to increase income, promote local entrepreneurship and improve the lives of farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs.

Our Programs and Initiatives Women's Empowerment We offer programs to empower women through education, leadership training and microfinance. 1 3 2 Entrepreneurship Training Community Health We provide training and support for entrepreneurs to help them start and grow their businesses. We focus on promoting access to healthcare services such as family planning and maternal health, and training community health workers.

Challenges & Solutions Cultural Barriers Logistical Challenges Geography & Climate The diverse cultures and traditions of Sikkim require us to approach our work with cultural sensitivity and respect. We work closely with local communities, engaging them in our program planning, and ensuring that our interventions are culturally a ppro pri a t e. Building and operating programs in remote regions has its logistical challenges. We have developed a strong team of professionals with extensive experience operating. The rugged terrain and harsh climate of the Himalayas make it difficult to provide essential services and infrastructure.
