If the answer is yes, then we’re here to tell you all you need to know about MensaInternational. Mensa is one of the major high IQ societies in the world. These societies, as the name suggests, are organized for those with exceptional IQscores. But why does Mensa exist? What is its purpose? And are you eligible to join? We’re going to explain exactly how you can qualify to join MensaInternational. What Is MensaInternational?

  2. Mensa was founded in 1946 in Oxford, England by Roland Berrill, a barrister from Australia, and Dr. Lance Ware, a scientist and lawyer fromEngland. • Mensa was the first of its kind. And it grew quickly. Today, it has more than 134,000 members across 100 countries. Just as it was back in 1946,Mensa • International remains one of the most prominent genius clubs outthere. • Mensa has successfully created a society free of social and religious distinction in aiming for an organic society. Its three purposes affirm thisaim. • The three purposes of Mensainclude: • Fostering intelligence for the benefit of humanityalone • Encouraging research on intelligence regarding its characteristics, nature, and usage • Promotion of stimulating opportunities for itsmembers What Does ‘Mensa’ Mean? Defining The Mensa Meaning

  3. The word Mensa has Latin origins. The word itself means table. What does that have to do with this genius club? Well, quite a lot,actually. Mensa is a round table-society where all distinctions are believed to be irrelevant. This includes: national origin, age, politics, and any other social or educational distinction. People from all around the world are welcome tojoin. Where Do Mensa MembersMeet? With the incentive of providing a better society, Mensa organizes various events for its members at both the local and international levels. Once a year, a large event called the Annual Gathering is held in several countries where Mensa has formed societies, including Great Britain, the US, and Canada. Every year the Annual Gathering is held in a different city. It’s hosted with numerous speakers, leadership workshops, children’s events, and other activities for the members to engage in andsocialize. How To Join Mensa: Specific MensaRequirements To be eligible to join Mensa, you must score within the highest two percent of the general population on an IQtest. Are IQ tests really the most accurate measure of intelligence? What is intelligence, anyway? That’s a whole different kettle offish. But rest assured that Mensa actually accepts a variety of intelligence tests for membership eligibility, including the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and the Stanford Binet IntelligenceScale. Basically, the primary mensa iq requirement is that you score in the highest percentiles. So, if you want to join Mensa, you must take one of thesetests.

  4. Currently, Mensa consists of over 134,000 members in 51 national groups across 100 countries around the world. You can join a national Mensa group or youcan join Mensa Internationaldirectly if your country does not presently haveone. The Mensa BrainWorkout Not sure where you fall on the IQ scale? Or worried you might not make the cut? A good place to start out is by trying the Mensa BrainWorkout. While this test won’t qualify you to join Mensa, it’s a good way to put your brain to the test and expose yourself to the type of questions you might find on the Stanford Binet or theWAIS. No matter where you fall on the IQ scale, remember that it is possible to improve your intelligence. As Jim Kwik, Author of Mindvalley’s Superbrain Program,says:
