  1. Termite inspection: Beware of fraud termite inspectors Just like scams in many other industries, there are fraud termite inspectors everywhere in America. Such frauds happen much more often as compared to other scams. This increases the need for customers to take appropriate steps to ensure that they do not fall victim to such fraud inspectors. Right now in the market, there are many scammers who are just waiting for some vulnerable victims to fall for their scams. Since termite inspection fraud is fast rising, you as a consumer need to be prepared to protect yourself from falling victim in case such a scam occurs with you.

  2. False evidences One of the most common frauds that occur on a much frequent basis is when inspectors visit your home and come up with evidence of infestation. They point out towards evidence of termite infestation showing shed wings and waste pellets. This evidence confirms the presence of reproductive flying termites. This evidence is similar to the evidence that at times dirty cops plant for busting some person. The purpose o f this kind of fraud is to prove to you that your home is infested by termites. Usually such scammers are also providing termite eradication services too.

  3. False claims that damage has been caused by termites One other prevalent fraud is that termite inspectors point out towards damage alleging it has been caused by termites when in reality this is not the case. The fact is that it isn’t easy at all for the common person to see and recognize true termite damage. When such scammers plot a fraud, then they are usually successful as they know how to convince people that a problem exists when in reality it does not. You would end up paying hundreds of dollars without a valid reason. In such situations, the best thing to do is to opt for a second opinion.

  4. Customers made to hire fumigation services without a valid reason Such frauds also occur when fumigations services have been provided to homes after a careful evaluation in which the customer is led to believe that a termite problem does exist. In such cases the services are offered amidst promises that a specific and special kind of chemical will be used that is designed for eliminating the termites. However, in reality a cheap chemical would be used in place of the real one.

  5. Use of cheap chemicals Even in cases where a termite problem does exist, what these scammers will do is employ a cheap copy of the real chemical. This will only eliminate some of the termites, not all the termites. This will leave you vulnerable to re-infestation. The best way out in such cases is to check the chemicals that are being used and make sure that they happen to be in labeled containers.
