  1. Gender Studies breaking gender stereotypes Give lessons of gender studies: Aimed at developing a social and political understanding of gender, this should be a part of knowledge even when the formal prescribed curriculum doesn’t find a room for it. For both boys and girls, activities, games and critical dialogues on gender bias and power should officially become part of the student experience. Such tasks will give Gender Education a standalone legitimacy and create a stronger base for incorporating gender equality in the classroom. This will also necessitate the development of the requisite curricular and teacher materials, which should be developed from advice and communication with school for girls so that maximum insights can be extracted. Instruct teachers: Teachers should be compulsorily imparted gender study lessons, in pre- and in-service teacher training and teacher education programs. Teachers are potentially powerful agents of social change as they are the ones who put words into the mouths of children. Training in effective communication of gender-related issues with young students should also be included in pre-service training. All of the above need intensive in-service training of school faculty, along with the betterment of teacher training materials. These recommendations are grounded in from the best girls’ school in Patna which has made sure that the official curriculum is surrounded by gender education — leading to impressive learning and life outcomes. Mold mindsets: There is a rising need against the ever-growing gender-based violence. 4 rapes are reported by the National Crime Records Bureau each hour. At each social and political platform, there is a need to mold and inform patriarchal mindsets. School education is a good place to evolve fresh and young mindsets which can change a whole generation of boys and girls. Being a top CBSE school in Patna, IPS truly believes in progressive society adhering to gender equality. www.ipsgirlspatna.com
