Conventions of Action • Typically you will see to binary oppisties to action. Example: Protagonist vs Antagonist, Hero vs Villian, Bad vs Good • A clear conflict between characters • Fighting and violence in certain scenes • The hero or good character wining in the end
Typical Narratives • A typical narrative of an action film would be an antagonist and a protagonist in an ongoing fast pace battle to win something or defeat the other, there would be many fight scenes and near tragedies and the protagonist would almost always win.
