How To Setup A Belkin Router As Wireless Repeater? Most of the Belkin routers have the capability to act as a repeater. It is also called as bridging. This helps to expand the range of your wireless network. Carry out the steps below to setup your Belkin router as wireless repeater Step 1 First, check if your Belkin router supports the wireless bridging feature. Step 2 Take an Ethernet cable and then connect it between your Windows computer and the LAN port of the router. Step 3 Launch a web browser. Enter the router’s IP address in the address bar. If you don’t know the IP address, find it by entering the ipconfig command in the Command Prompt window. Note: The Belkin router’s default IP address is 192.168.2.1. Step 4 Enter the router’s user name and password in the appropriate fields. Click Login -> Submit. Step 5 Navigate to the Status page and go to the LAN Settings section.
