Cottonseed drying plant is useful in the cottonseed Oil Mills, cottonseed De-linting Plants, Cottonseed De-hulling plant, Warehousing, Cotton Ginning Plants and other cottonseed related industries for drying of cottonseeds. Cottonseeds have heterogeneous properties with very fuzzy characteristics. Operating Principle:- The machine operates with a convective drying system. The cottonseed is dried and cleaned by providing a continuous flow of hot air with a certain temperature, a specific velocity, and a retention time, passing it over a thin air permeable belt through hot air distribution slits. The temperature, feeder and retention time is controlled using an electrical control panel board. The operation is continuous and the drying is done efficiently bypassing the air through the bed thickness. Benefits:- Manual Platform Drying is not required hence manpower & time are saved. Cottonseed can be dried in moist weather when natural sun drying cannot be done properly. Oil mills& De-linting Industries can operate in the early season period & rainy season period as well. Oil recovery & production can be increased as compared to over-moist cottonseed crushing. Better quality and color of cake as compared to over-moist cottonseed crushing. Online crushing or De-linting of cotton seed from the ginning house is possible, so labor for bagging, stacking, re-feeding is saved.
