What To Look During The Final Walk-Through For One of the main reasons of doing a final walk-through is to ensure that the place is in the same & exact condition that you agreed to, before buying or taking the property on rent. Here we have listed things that you must look out for during the final walk through - Take a walk through the entire home to check if there is something that needs to be renovated. Check the area rugs or floors for stains or faded flooring.  Ensure that all the security features that have been installed, work properly. Run the water taps and check if there are any leaks under the sink. Test all the appliances as well as heating or cooling systems.
