  1. Future Prospects after Obtaining a B.Sc. Degree If we want a nation where our future leaders, neighbors, and workers can understand and solve some of the complex challenges of today and tomorrow, it is very important that our nation’s youth are prepared to bring knowledge and skills to solve problems and make sense of information, and know how to gather and evaluate evidence to make decisions. These all are the kinds of skills that students can develop in science. Science education is the education which gives students the opportunity to gain a better knowledge of how and why things function. In our lives we use scientific thought, method and inquiry to come to our decisions. After 10+2, B. Sc. or Bachelor of Science is one of the best career options which provides basic knowledge of the major Science subjects to the students. It is a very common choice among participants who wish to pursue their career in Science and Technology. Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate degree of three years duration which is universally offered across institutes and universities across India and provides better options for students looking to work in specialized professions. B. Sc. is one of the most popular courses opted by students who have a flair for scientific aptitude and zeal for research-oriented and calculative approaches based on a proven systematic method. This course forms the basis of science and comprises of the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Computer Science, IT and Geology. Candidates must have passed in the class 12th can apply for the B. Sc. programs as per their choice and preference. The admission in B.Sc. courses is based on Class 12th percentage or entrance exam.

  2. Why B. Sc. Course –? After the completion of the B. Sc. course, students can work in various areas of science & non-science fields. After Bachelor of Science many job opportunities are available in research and development fields as educational institutes, chemical industries, biotechnology industries, wastewater plants, oil industries, forest science etc. For a better career, the science stream students often have either engineering to pursue or MBBS. Because both of these courses have seen a great scope in the past few years, so Bachelor of Science is one of the best career options here. The students pursuing B. Sc. course have best and popular job profiles as Scientist Assistant, Research Analyst, Teachers, Technical Writer or Editor, Lecturers, Chemist, Research Consultant, Clinical Research Manager etc. Tremendous opportunities exist for students opting for a career in pure science in many educational institutions like Indian Institute for Science Education and Research (IISER) and National Institute for Science Education and Research (NISER),CDRI, BSIP etc. After a Bachelor’s programme in pure science, a student can opt for the Master’s programme followed by a Ph.D. then of course opportunities exist in the research institutes of pure science. Several fellowships are also offered by theIndian Government as / MHRD / DST / DBT / CSIR for the students pursuing doctoral research in the various prestigious research institutions in India. After completing their B.Sc. Degree students can get jobs in Marketing, Business & other technical fields. In the bank sector also, Science graduates are recruited to work as customer service executives. Students can also find employment in Government sectors also.
